| On the 4th of March, 2016, the IPDGA and groomers around the world were in complete shock following the devastating news that our chairperson and beloved friend Mary Toland had passed away suddenly. Mary had been the chairperson for 20 years and was planning on retiring this October after devoting 20 wonderful years to her fellow groomers. We were planning the party of a lifetime to celebrate our 20th anniversary and this generous, beautiful lady. |  |
 | On the night, they read out a few words that had been sent in about a certain nominee. Those words were kind, caring, sense of humour, always there. We were delighted when the award went to Jenny Hale. Jenny is a highly respected member of the IPDGA, always there to help others. She is kind, generous with her time and knowledge and devoted to helping groomers be the best that they can. |
