Dubai - Two positions

We are looking to recruit for 2 positions in Dubai, UAE, (1) an experienced Dog Groomer and (2) Sales & Store Manager for our Pet Store & Grooming Salon based in the beautiful city of Dubai.
 

Position 1| Dog Groomer position:
We are looking for a young, enthusiastic, outgoing person with a strong work ethic to join our team in Dubai. 
 
The candidate must be a genuine animal lover who is both caring and gentle yet at the same time confident and competent when handling pets. Must be able to work on their own initiative and blend in easily with a diverse team and customer base. A good personality and friendly disposition is a must for this role.

Grooming experience as well as a recognised qualification (for example City & Guilds) is essential, minimum of 2 years practical experience required. Duties will include all levels of grooming, bathing, prepping, cleaning the grooming area and care and maintenance of the grooming equipment. Candidates with experience in animal healthcare would be preferred. The position will be 6 days a week and a full driving licence is also a requirement.
 
Compensation: 
Salary of AED 8,000 per month tax free plus Medical Insurance
   

Sales & Store Manager position:
As our Sales Agent / Retail Store Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of our retail store—from top to bottom.  From implementing systems, hiring staff, monitoring and evaluating performance,   the Sales Agent / Retail Store Manager is required to oversee operations and staffing for the retail location as well as managing all day to day duties that ensure the smooth operation of a retail store including sales and customer service in the retail location. 
 
The Sales Agent / Retail Store Manager will be involved with a variety of tasks such as hiring new staff, providing sales training, merchandising, and inventory control, ensuring high standards for customer service, creating budgets, and ensuring that all store sales goals are met or exceeded. 
In addition the candidate will be responsible for the following: 

• maintaining the grooming schedule,
• keeping the social media sites & website up to date, 
• ensure that deliveries are completed on time, 
• Interacting with customers in the shop as the face of the organization, 
• Attending to customers on the phone  

Candidate must have good presentations skills and be PC literate, veterinary assistant/ animal nutrition qualifications are required, full driving licence is also required.
The candidate must have proven experience working in a retail environment, be an animal lover and have a friendly outgoing personality.
 
Compensation: 
Salary of AED 10,000 per month tax free plus Medical Insurance plus company vehicle
