Supporting Irish Canine Business's

This lady came to my attention because she made bags of treats for groomers to give to their customers at Xmas. I asked Karen to tell us about her business & products 

Happy Tails began almost four years ago when I starting making Zoe her own treats when she was a pup. I quickly realised the downside of feeding her a wide range of brand name treats. Once I began making her treats I had peace of mind knowing what each treats contained and that she was getting the best quality food. All our treats are made with quality human grade natural ingredients and are available in variety of flavours and wheat free versions, they are so good some owners even try them too! Zoe has realised the fridge is her friend and there are always treats there waiting for her. She has agreed to try all our new flavours and never complains about putting in extra hours of taste testing. Most importantly she has agreed to share her favourite treats with all the other doggies. Once our treats became big hit with all our four legged customers and their owners we began stocking other quality products which are all tried and tested with my own dogs.
​I stock a wide range of accessories Collars, Bowls, Leads, Irish made Doggie Shampoo and our very own Bandanas. A lot of our products are American and our range is constantly growing. This year we will be launching some new treat flavours. Some of our current brands are Lupine Pet, Loving Pets Bowl Range, Fluff & Tuff, West Paw Design Toys, 2 Hound No Pull Freedom Harness, Natural Dog Company Healing Balms and Irish Made Eco Mutt Soaps & Shampoos. Two years ago we launched Happy Tails own range of Quality Bandanas which are very popular and each year we have a new range of designs and patterns available, we have a special range at Halloween and Christmas also.
All our treats are accessories are available on our website www.happytails.ie and at farmers markets and events nationwide. I also attend IKC shows in the National Show Centre throughout the year. I currently trade at St Annes Park Raheny on a Saturday, Terenure Market in Bushy Park and Castletown House Market Celbridge from March-October. I also attend various agricultural events throughout the summer months and other events throughout the year.
